12 Tags of 2013 - January

Hoping the New Year if treating you all well, mine is hopping along at a steady pace, almost keeping up with the to do list, (trick is not to make it too long).

The January tag for the Tim Holtz challenge has been sitting almost finished for over a week, seeing as its a little quite round here due to the first lot of snow for 2013 it was time to finish it and up load.

If you want to look at Tim's tag and all the details pop over to his blog by pressing here.  He has also been showing sneak peaks of his new products launched this week at the CHA show, easy to find just one or two items to put on the wish list!!!

As normal my tag looks nothing like Tim's that's the fun of being me. I did use an embossing folder and some words for the New Year, (just like Tim).

Supplies used.
Dancers Girlfriends stamp from Art impressions.
Embossing folder from Couture Creations
Tag and paper from stash.
Ribbon from Stash.
Ballet charm (from Tally's Stash - have to give back after taking photo!)
Distress inks (you know me any colour to hand)
Promarkers (again any colour that takes my fancy)
Gem's from stash.

The words out of the same stamp set as the Dancers.
'Dance like no one's watching...
who can have you committed'

Thanks for visiting, hope it made you smile.

  1. I love that you put your own spin on Tim's technique. I love seeing different interpretations that let the individual who created it shine! Your tag is lovely and those dancers are too cute for words :) I love the colors you used throughout your design and those vibrant turquoise ribbons with the tiny ballerina charm "Tie" everything together beautifully!

  2. Oh how fun!!! It makes me smile!!
