Ranger on the Road Workshop with Tim Holtz and Dyan Reaveley

Today I was able to excitedly attend a retailer Ranger on the Road Workshop with Tim Holtz and Dyan Reaveley.
The event was organised by the craft wholesales Personal Impressions as part of the CHSI show (Craft Hobby and Stitch International often known as Stitches).  A big big thank you to them.
As we arrive we have a first glimpse of the projects.

We get to play with the new Distress Pens, and Dyans masks and inks.
An air of anticipations as everyone arrives.

Thought I would take a picture of the workshop crew relaxing prior the start.  Made the mistake, of asking if they mind me snapping a shot, so they immediately scattered and the tables turned on me they took one of me too.  It was ok no one broke the camera.

We started off with Tim,s project.

These few items in less than an hour and a half turn into a beautiful wall canvas.

Sorry Dyan your not really sleeping on the job, but show casing the project very elegantly.

Lots of laughter and fun.

The finished item, I will show it hanging on the wall in a later blog.

Dyan's project the start of a altered book, but a chance to use her new inks under the Ranger branding.
The unfortunate bit is as UK retailers they are not shipping until March.

As always towards the end of a workshop the time just slips away instead of rushing the last few stick on's I have taken mine back to finish it at the hotel.  Cheating I have taken a picture of Georgie's finished page.

Not bad in an hour and half.
Total workshop time 3 hours for 2 projects.
Great fun and relaxing.

Tomorrow is the start of the retailer show, have been following the releases from CHA the USA show, but it will be great to see the product up close plus anything new we can spot.

Staying in a hotel locally so with a free evening it is a time to play arty crafty a little more.
